Dundee take Bournemouth defender Akinmboni on loan

Dundee have signed Matai Akinmboni on a season-long loan from Bournemouth after the defender impressed during a two-week trial. Akinmboni, 19, is a USA Under-20 international who joined Bournemouth in January 2025 from DC United. "Matai is a player that has very much impressed us since coming in on trial," said Dundee boss Steven Pressley.
