The New York Mets placed starter Christian Scott on the 15-day injured list Tuesday, ending the right-hander's season because of left knee inflammation. Devin Williams was activated from the IL after not pitching since Aug. 7 because of a right shoulder strain. After missing all of 2025 recovering from Tommy John surgery, Scott went 4-5 with a 3.85 ERA in 23 starts this season.
