San Diego Padres second baseman Luis Rengifo will undergo season-ending surgery for a torn ACL in his right knee. The Padres announced Monday that imaging showed a full tear of the ACL. Rengifo was injured in the seventh inning of a 7-6 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday when he threw across his body toward home and fell to to the infield dirt.
